The 9-Step Upgrade of Hakim Sabzevari University in the Scimago Ranking System

The president of Hakim Sabzevari University announced the nine -step upgrade of the university’s ranking in the Scimago ranking system.

Dr. Ali Asghar Mowlavi, speaking with the public relations department of the university, announced that Hakim Sabzevari University ranked 50th with 9 -step up from 2017 among all state, medical, Azad universities and research institutes in the country.

He added that Hakim Sabzevari University, in the newest ranking of this system, could surpass many of the old and modern universities such as Allameh Tabatabai, Kharazmi, Shahid, Arak, Sistan and Baluchestan, Shahrood, Lorestan and Golestan.

The president of the Hakim Sabzevari University, pointing out that Scimago is one of the world’s leading research-made ranking center, said: The Scimago rating system has since 2009 ranked more than 5,000 universities and research institutes in the world in three sections: Publishes, innovation and website.

He continued: “Scimago evaluates and ranks universities based on research performance and in the form of articles indexed in internationally recognized publications. In 2018, 126 universities and institutes rank among the 5632 universities and institutes in the world.

Finally, Dr. Mowlavi, thanks to the faculty members and other academic staffs, knew this success regard to the extensive and endless efforts of these two academic groups.

The “Philosophical Practice of Thinking Practice” workshop was held by Mrs. Isabelle Milon at Hakim Sabzevari University

The “Philosophical Practice of theaching Thinking” workshop was held by Mrs. Isabelle Milon, director   of the Philosophical Practice Institute in France at Hakim Sabzevari University.

The main focus of the workshop was on critical thinking, the art of asking questions, expressing good    reasoning, prioritizing and deciding, clarifying thoughts, understanding, evaluating others, judging and analyzing the text that Mrs. Millon explained to the audience at this 6-hour workshop.

It should be noted that due to the importance of the workshop and the applicability of these subjects in education, coordinated by Hakim Sabzevari University, in addition to university professors, Sabzevar education authorities, school administrators and teachers of different levels attended in the workshop.

Promoting international connections of Hakim Sabzevari University and the world’s leading universities: Hakim Sabzevari University received 10 PhD scholarships from the University of Paris 13

The Office Director for International Scientific Collaboration and Relations of Hakim Sabzevari University, said: University of Paris 13 agreed to award scholarships to the distinguished students of the University for further education in Ph.D.

He noted that since signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between Hakim Sabzevari University and Paris 13 communications between the two universities have been pursued very dynamically.

Dr. Farzai added: “Hakim Sabzevari University‘s international relations policy is to bring the university to its deserving place, and in the coming years, there will be a large exchange of students and professors between Hakim Sabzevari University and the world’s leading universities.

 

In order to promote international scientific cooperation, the first member of the faculty member of Hakim Sabzevari University was introduced

In order to promote the international scientific cooperation of Hakim Sabzevari University: the first “Affiliated Faculty Member” of Hakim Sabzevari University was introduced.

The Office Director for International Scientific Collaboration and Relations of Hakim Sabzevari University, said: following international relations of the university, an agreement was signed with      Dr. Farshid Safat, an Iranian elite and professor at the University of Bradford in England as the first affiliated faculty member of Hakim Sabzevari University.

 

Dr. Gholamali Farzai pointed out that recruiting of an affiliated faculty member at the university was based on the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on the “process of attracting non-resident elites”, adding that according to the byaw, Iranian scientists living abroad Can have academic and research partnerships with universities in the country as ” affiliated faculty member.

He said: “Affiliated Professors” work part-time with universities and, in a given time period, they attend educational and research activities at the university, although their academic communication with the university is always established.
