A Meeting Of The Cultural Advisor Of Afghanistan And University Officials With Afghan Students

 

Shafiq East, Cultural Advisor to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, along with Dr Molavi, Head of Hakim Sabzevari University, Dr. Farzi, Director of the Office of International Scientific Collaboration, and Dr. Tasnimi, Director of the Office of the University President, attended in a meeting with Afghan students of Hakim Sabzevari University.

At the meeting, which was welcomed by the broader students of Afghan citizens, the head of the University, referring to the national and international rank of the university, expressed the capabilities of the Hakim Sabzevari University as the second largest scientific centre of excellence in the east of the country.

Dr. Molavi emphasized the deep cultural and social ties between the two countries and emphasized the links between scientific and educational cooperation.

The Afghan cultural adviser, also appreciating the scientific cooperation and opportunities offered by the university to educate Afghan students on the expansion of scientific, educational and academic cooperation between Iran and Afghanistan and the opportunities and potential available in the country. This field is about the good neighborliness and coherence of the two countries.

Further Dr. Farzi, Director of the Office of International Scientific Collaboration and Relationship with the Industry of Hakim Sabzevari University, outlined the areas of cooperation between the two countries, emphasized on the attraction of Afghan students at Hakim Sabzevari University due to their adjacency and coherence and commonality.

 

The ceremony of new foreign students

The ceremony of new foreign students was held with the presence of the head of the university, director of the Office of International Scientific Collaboration and Industry Relations, the Director of Public Relations and the Office of the President and the Director of Security.

In this ceremony, the head of Hakim Sabzevari University welcomed the new foreign students pointing to the linguistic and cultural ties between the two countries of Afghanistan and Iran and referred to foreign students as peace ambassadors.

Director of the Office of International Scientific Collaboration and Relations with industry of Hakim Sabzevari University said the attraction of foreign students at this university has accelerated and now 120 non-Iranian students are studying at this university.

Dr. Gholamali Farzi said: Recruiting foreign students, especially students of Afghan citizens, due to the close proximity and Cultural affinity between the two countries, is one of the priorities of the international relations of Hakim Sabzevari University.

Dr. Farzai continued: With the presence of some Afghan students in Kabul and the introduction of university capacities, and interview with 100 applicants, finally 42 students were chosen whom 30 students entered the university after having completed lengthy administrative procedures for issuing visas and attendance.
