    Open the Activities<\/a><\/span> overview and start typing Network<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Click on Network<\/span> to open the panel.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    At the bottom of the list on the left, click the +<\/span> button to add a new connection.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Choose VPN<\/span> in the interface list.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Choose Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol(PPTP).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Fill in the VPN connection details,the GateWay is “vpn.stmu.ac.ir<\/span>“, then press Add<\/span> once you are finished.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    When you have finished setting-up the VPN, open the system menu<\/a><\/span> from the right side of the top bar, click VPN off<\/span> and select Connect<\/span>. You may need to enter a password for the connection before it is established. Once the connection is made, you will see a lock shaped icon in the top bar.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Hopefully you will successfully connect to the VPN. If not, you may need to double-check the VPN settings you entered. You can do this from the Network<\/span> panel that you used to create the connection. Select the VPN connection from the list, then press the \"settings\"<\/span><\/span> button to review the settings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
