دانشکده معماری و شهرسازی دانشگاه حکیم سبزواری با بیش از 20 سال تجربه آموزشی و پژوهشی در شرق کشور بعنوان اولین و بزرگترین دانشکده معماری و شهر سازی در خراسان و شرق کشور مشغول به فعالیت می باشد. این دانشکده با اعضاء هیات علمی برجسته و کارشناسان آموزشی متخصص و پرسنل اداری فعال و دلسوز و امکانات گسترده در راستای اهداف آموزشی و پژوهشی خود منطبق بر سیاستهای دانشگاه و به تبع آن وزارت علوم تحقیقات و فناوری در جهت پرورش نیروهای علمی و متخصص تلاش نموده و می نماید.

این دانشکده ازسال ۱۳۷۶ فعالیت خود را با پذیرش دانشجو در مقطع کاردانی معماری شروع و در سال ۱۳۸۲رشته های کارشناسی ناپیوسته معماری و کاردانی حفاظت و مرمت بناهای تاریخی به فعالیت علمی, پژوهشی و آموزشی خود ادامه داده و هم اکنون با حدود ۳۶۰ دانشجو در رشته های معماری در دو مقطع کارشناسی و کارشناسی ارشد وحفاظت و مرمت بناهای تاریخی در دو مقطع کارشناسی و کارشناسی ناپیوسته مشغول به فعالیت می باشد. تعداد اعضای هیأت علمی رسمی 11نفر عضو و تعداد اساتید مدعو ۲۰ نفر بوده که عهده دار آموزش دانشجویان می باشند.در ذیل خلاصه ای از روند جذب دانشجو و توسعه دانشکده ارائه می گردد:
